Ingredients:

  • ½ cup butter
  • 200ml sugar
  • ½ teaspoon saffron
  • ½ cup white chocolate
  • 2 medium eggs
  • ¾ cup flour

Instructions:

Step 1

Set the oven range to 175 degrees Celsius to preheat. Grease and flour a removable-sides cake pan. Then remove the butter; stir in the saffron. Stir in the chocolate in small pieces until completely melted.

Step 2

In the other bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar. Pour in the butter mixture and then stir in the flour carefully. Fill the cake pan halfway with the cake batter and bake for 20 minutes.

Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
